ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly hot and dry weather across most parts of the country during the next 24 hours, with very hot conditions expected in Sindh.

However, isolated rain-wind and thunderstorm activity is likely during the afternoon in southern Punjab, northern Balochistan and Kashmir.

According to the forecast, Islamabad and its surrounding areas will remain mainly dry, though partly cloudy conditions may develop during the afternoon.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, hot and dry weather is expected across most districts, while upper parts of the province may experience partly cloudy conditions during the evening and night.

Punjab will continue to experience hot and dry weather in most areas. However, Murree and Galiyat may remain partly cloudy during the evening and night.

Dust-raising winds are also expected in central and southern districts during the afternoon, while light rain-wind or thunderstorm activity may occur at isolated places including Bahawalpur, Rajanpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Kot Addu and Dera Ghazi Khan.

Sindh is likely to remain very hot in its upper districts, with hot and dry weather prevailing across the province.

Similarly, Balochistan will experience hot and dry conditions in most areas, although southern districts may witness very hot weather. Isolated partly cloudy conditions with chances of rain-wind and thunderstorms are expected in Zhob, Barkhan, Dera Bugti, Naseerabad and adjoining areas.

In Kashmir, partly cloudy to cloudy weather is expected with chances of isolated rain-wind and thunderstorms, while Gilgit-Baltistan will remain partly cloudy.
