LONDON (Dunya News) - Nobel Prize laureate and education activist Malala Yousafzai expressed optimism about Pakistan’s future, saying the country’s youth are enthusiastically contributing to national development through modern education and innovation.

Speaking to the media after addressing the World Education Forum in London, Malala highlighted the important role women play in the journey toward progress and development.

During her address at the conference, she also spoke about the state of girls’ education in Palestine, Lebanon and Afghanistan, stressing the challenges faced by female students in conflict-affected regions.

Malala said Palestinian students understand their issues and are also aware of possible solutions, while girls in Afghanistan are continuing efforts to pursue education despite severe restrictions and obstacles.

She also participated in a roundtable session with students and took part in a quiz competition during the event. Education ministers from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also attended the conference.

On the occasion, Malala reiterated her confidence in Pakistan’s future, stating that young people are working passionately for the country’s development through modern knowledge and education.
