Summary Pakistan marked 75 years of diplomatic relations with China through a flag-hoisting ceremony at the Interior Ministry in Islamabad.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A special flag-hoisting ceremony was held at the Ministry of Interior Pakistan to mark 75 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.

Talal Chaudhry attended the ceremony as chief guest.

Federal Interior Secretary Muhammad Khurram Agha, additional secretaries and a large number of ministry officials also participated in the event.

As part of the celebrations, the flags of Pakistan and China were hoisted at Pak Secretariat R Block.

Participants expressed good wishes on the completion of 75 years of Pakistan-China friendship and diplomatic ties.

Addressing the ceremony, Talal Chaudhry said Pakistan and China had always stood by each other during difficult times and pledged to further strengthen the longstanding friendship.

The state minister said ties between the two countries had flourished during the governments of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.

He added that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and cooperation in the shipbuilding sector reflected the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Talal Chaudhry said Pakistan-China friendship would be presented globally as an ideal and exemplary model of bilateral cooperation.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the chief guest planted a commemorative sapling.
