ALIPUR CHATHA (Dunya News) - Picnic turned into a tragedy, as a woman drowned and three go missing while bathing in a canal near Alipur Chatha on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, eight members of a family went for a picnic on the bank of canal in Kot Bela area near Alipur Chatha. While bathing in the canal, they accidently entered the deep water and dorwned.
Rescue teams present in the area rushed to the site and saved four people and dead body of a woman was recovered from the water while three other persons are still missing.
Search operation to locate the missing person is ongoing.
