PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - A curfew will remain in effect in North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on May 30 and 31 (Saturday and Sunday), local authorities announced.

According to the Deputy Commissioner of North Waziristan, public movement on all entry and exit routes will remain suspended during the curfew period.

However, for public convenience, restrictions will be relaxed daily from 6pm to 10pm.

Officials said all major roads and highways would remain closed to general traffic during the curfew, urging residents to stay indoors and comply with the announced timings.

Meanwhile, the district administration has formally issued a notification regarding the imposition of the curfew.
