PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi laid the foundation stone of the underpass project at Ring Road PDA Toll Plaza Hayatabad here on Sunday.
The two-lane underpass will be constructed at a cost of Rs1.6 billion. Addressing the ceremony, Sohail Afridi said that the rehabilitation of Peshawar is ‘our priority’, adding Peshawar has always shown an open heart when needed.
He said that Peshawar has always hosted the victims of Malakand and the tribal districts, and efforts are being made to ensure that all projects included in the plan are started on time and completed on time.

On the other hand, while briefing Sohail Afridi, officials said that the Peshawar Revitalization Plan includes beautification projects for 35 roads, with an estimated cost of Rs 19 billion.
The briefing further informed that in the first phase, practical work will begin soon on 15 different roads.
