GILGIT (Dunya News) – Newly-elected Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Advocate Amjad Hussain, will take the oath of his office today (Monday) in Gilgit. Governor Syed Mehdi Shah will administer the oath at an official ceremony.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, along with several senior party leaders, arrived in Gilgit on Sunday to attend the oath-taking ceremony.
A large number of political leaders, government officials, and dignitaries are also expected to participate in the event. All arrangements for the oath-taking ceremony have been finalized.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister-elect Amjad Hussain Advocate has extended a public invitation, encouraging the people of Gilgit-Baltistan to attend the ceremony and be part of this significant democratic occasion.
