ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The United States and Pakistan continue to make progress in bilateral relations, with cooperation between the two countries expanding under the administration of President Donald Trump, the US Embassy in Islamabad said on Friday.
In a post on social media platform X, the embassy said US members of Congress and business leaders had visited Islamabad and Lahore to explore opportunities for expanding cooperation between the two countries.
The embassy said senior officials also discussed shared security priorities during US-Pakistan counterterrorism talks held in Washington.
According to the embassy, Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker also participated in a golf tournament held to mark the United States’ 250th anniversary and celebrate the decades-long friendship between the United States and Pakistan.
The embassy described the summer as a busy period for the growing US-Pakistan partnership, saying engagement had continued across diplomatic discussions, security talks and business interactions.
