KARACHI (Dunya News) – An Additional District and Sessions Court (South) has acquitted Anmol alias Pinky in a drug case registered at Karachi’s Gizri police station in 2021.
The court approved the accused’s acquittal plea and discharged her from the case. Advocate Anam Kausar represented Anmol before the court.
According to the defence counsel, the drug case was registered against Anmol in 2021 and she had been declared a fugitive in the case.
The lawyer argued that Anmol had been nominated in the case solely on the basis of statements given by her co-accused.
The two other co-accused, Ali and Fahmida, had already been acquitted by the court in 2024, the defence counsel said.
Following their acquittal, there was no longer any possibility of Anmol being convicted in the case, prompting the court to approve her acquittal.
