ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Details of the financial budget and expenditures of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for the past three years have emerged.
According to the figures, the federal government allocated a total of Rs22 billion to PIMS over the last three years.
Documents show that the federal government allocated Rs6.84 billion to PIMS during the previous fiscal year.

However, the hospital administration spent Rs7.51 billion against the allocated amount, resulting in expenditures exceeding the approved budget.
The PIMS administration also received an additional Rs660 million in budget funds during the previous fiscal year.
For the current fiscal year, the federal government has allocated Rs7.63 billion to PIMS.
