Summary Candidates can withdraw their nomination papers by October 7, while the final list of candidates will be issued on October 9
MUZAFFARABAD (Dunya News) - The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Election Commission has issued the schedule for elections to four vacant seats of the Kashmir Council.
Polling for the four seats will be held on October 12 at the Legislative Assembly Hall. Polling will take place from 10am to 1pm, followed by counting and announcement of the results.
According to the election schedule, candidates can submit their nomination papers to the secretary of the Election Commission on October 1 from 9am to 2pm.
Scrutiny of nomination papers will be conducted on October 2 at 10am. Appeals against rejection of nomination papers can be filed on October 5 from 9am to noon.
The appeals will be heard on October 6 from 9am to 12:30pm, with decisions also to be announced the same day.
Candidates can withdraw their nomination papers by October 7, while the final list of candidates will be issued on October 9.
Polling will be held at the Legislative Assembly Hall on October 12 from 10am to 1pm. The counting of votes and announcement of results will take place immediately after polling.
