PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi inaugurated the Hayatabad Toll Plaza underpass at a ceremony attended by provincial ministers, lawmakers, party leaders and a large number of people.
The Rs1.6 billion project was completed in 90 days. The 500-metre underpass, including a 130-metre barrel and 665 piles, has two lanes and is designed to improve traffic flow from Detour Road on the Bara side towards Ring Road.
The project is expected to reduce traffic congestion in Hayatabad and adjoining areas, while improving commuting and overall traffic flow.
