Former Test cricketer Mohsin Khan also expressed concern, saying unproven allegations involving fixing or betting could damage a player’s reputation.
Junaid Khan questioned the absence of any written allegation or formal charge against Rizwan so far. He also said the ongoing inquiry had resulted in Rizwan cancelling a previously planned trip for Umrah.
The criticism comes amid an inquiry that has reportedly affected Rizwan’s participation in the President’s Trophy. However, no specific legal or contractual violation by the cricketer has been publicly identified so far.
