LAHORE (Dunya News) – The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has completed the forensic examination of national cricketer Imam-ul-Haq’s mobile phone, while Mohammad Rizwan has yet to cooperate with the investigation, according to sources.
Sources said the NCCIA had contacted Rizwan several times for the forensic examination of his phone. They claimed that the former Pakistan captain had not complied with directions to cooperate with the inquiry, causing delays in the investigation.
According to sources, the NCCIA is adopting a cautious approach in view of the court orders related to the case. The agency is expected to contact Rizwan again on September 28.
Sources said that if Rizwan did not cooperate with the investigation, the NCCIA would issue another written notice to him.
The NCCIA is conducting a forensic examination of the players’ mobile phones as part of an ongoing inquiry. Previous reports said investigators were examining phone data, messages, contacts and other material in the case.
