(Web Desk) - Sri Lanka have announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming T20I series against Pakistan, with Kusal Mendis named as captain.
The squad includes Kamil Mishara, Santh Jayawardene, Lahiru Udara and Sahan Arachchige.
Kamindu Mendis, Dasun Shanaka, Chamindu Wickramasinghe, Dunith Wellalage and Maheesh Theekshana are also part of the Sri Lankan squad.
Vijayakanth Viyaskanth, Dushmantha Chameera, Binura Fernando, Nuwan Thushara and Eshan Malinga complete the 15-member squad.
According to Sri Lankan media reports, Pathum Nissanka and Wanindu Hasaranga will miss the T20I series against Pakistan due to injuries.
Nissanka is reportedly dealing with discomfort in his right leg, while Hasaranga has not fully recovered from a back injury.
However, both players are expected to be available for the upcoming tri-nation series, according to Sri Lankan media reports.
Pakistan and Sri Lanka are scheduled to play three T20I matches in Rawalpindi from October 9 to 13.
The two teams will then take part in a tri-nation ODI series, scheduled to be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore from October 18 to 31.
