NAGOYA (Dunya News) – India set Pakistan a target of 212 runs after batting first in the final of the ongoing Asian Games cricket tournament in Japan. India scored 211 runs for the loss of six wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
India won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan in the final. Vaibhav Suryavanshi was dismissed for 15 runs, while Sanju Samson returned to the pavilion after scoring two runs.
Indian captain Shreyas Iyer had said at the toss that his team would retain the same playing XI that featured in the semifinal against Sri Lanka.
Pakistan are being led by Sahibzada Farhan, with Maaz Sadaqat, Usman Khan, Saim Ayub, Hasan Nawaz, Abdul Samad, Saad Masood, Arafat Minhas, Ahmed Daniyal, Abrar Ahmed and Sufyan Moqim completing the playing XI.
