DUBAI (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has stated that Pakistan’s economic stability journey is ongoing, with significant improvements in the macroeconomic sector due to the IMF programme.
Speaking to Pakistani businessmen and investors in Dubai, he emphasised the government’s focus on long-term reforms and sustainable development.
He highlighted a sharp decline in policy rates and a steady increase in IT exports.
Additionally, remittance reached $3 billion in January, while exports grew compared to the previous fiscal year.
The prime minister is on a two-day official visit to the UAE, accompanied by Deputy PM Ishaq Dar and other federal ministers.
