Gold prices fell in global and local markets as international bullion dropped $20 an ounce, pushing Pakistan’s 24-karat gold down Rs2,000 per tola on Saturday.
KARACHI (Web Desk) - Gold prices declined on Saturday in both international and domestic markets. In the global bullion market, the price of gold fell by $20 per ounce to $4,299, leading to a drop in local rates as well.
In Pakistan’s local bullion markets, the price of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs2,000 per tola, settling at Rs452,262. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs1,715 to Rs387,741.
Silver prices also registered a decline. The per tola price of silver dropped by Rs220 to Rs6,464, while the price of 10 grams of silver fell by Rs189 to Rs5,541.
