LNG prices cut further as OGRA issues new notification

Ogra has announced a further cut in LNG prices, reducing rates for Sui Southern by 5.26 percent and lowering the cost for Sui Northern by $0.55 per MMBTU
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) prices have been reduced further after the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) issued a fresh notification, giving some breathing space to consumers and gas companies.
According to the notification, LNG prices for Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) have been cut by 5.26 percent. The new price for the Sui Southern system has been set at $10.21 per MMBTU.
For the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) system, the price of imported gas has been reduced by $0.55 per MMBTU. The revised price for the Sui Northern system now stands at $11.27 per MMBTU.
Officials said the move is aimed at easing the burden and keeping energy costs in check, as authorities try to strike a balance between supply and affordability.
