Gold prices rise in Pakistan for second consecutive day

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Wednesday, tracking gains in the international market.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association the price of gold per tola rose by Rs3,500 to reach Rs503,462. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs3,001, settling at Rs431,637.

A day earlier, on Tuesday, gold per tola had climbed by Rs4,600 to close at Rs499,962.

In the global market, gold prices surged by $35, reaching $4,811 per ounce, including a premium of $20.

Meanwhile, silver prices also recorded a significant increase, rising by Rs144 to reach Rs8,404 per tola.
