Summary Transporters in Lahore have announced a 10 percent reduction in fares following a cut in petroleum product prices, while public transport fares have also been reduced.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Transport fares have been reduced by 10 percent following a decrease in petroleum product prices, providing relief to commuters and businesses using goods transportation services.

The Pakistan Mini Mazda and Goods Transport Association in Lahore announced a 10 percent reduction in transport fares after the reduction in petroleum prices.

Association President Haji Sher Ali said the government had taken a positive decision in favour of transporters.

He said the association was announcing a 10 percent reduction in fares for Mazda and goods transport following the decrease in petroleum product prices.

Public transporters have also reduced fares by 10 percent, which will provide relief to the public by lowering their travel expenses.
