ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Petrol and diesel prices have been reduced under the latest fuel-price revision, bringing some relief to motorists.
The revised rates take effect from September 29, 2026.
The price of petrol has been reduced by Rs2.27 per litre, bringing the new rate down to Rs389.03 per litre. The latest cut takes petrol below the Rs390-per-litre mark after the fuel had reached Rs391.30 per litre under the previous revision.
The price of diesel has dropped by Rs3.56 per litre, with the new rate set at Rs404.97 per litre. Despite the reduction, diesel remains above the Rs400-per-litre level.
