Mohsin Naqvi assures USA Cricket CEO of all possible support in cricket promotion
WASHINGTON (Haseeb Arslan) - Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi met United States of America (USA) Cricket’s Chief Executive Officer Johnathan Atkeison in Washington and discussed prospects of the game in the US.
Pakistan Super League (PSL) Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer was also present.
PCB Chairman Naqvi and the USA Cricket CEO discussed possibilities of a tri-nation series between Pakistan, Canada and USA. Discussions regarding arrangements for bilateral series between Pakistan and USA men’s and women’s cricket teams also was held.
Naqvi assured the USA Cricket CEO of support for players' development. He said the PCB was ready to provide full support for the promotion of cricket in the USA.
Naqvi offered to train USA cricket coaches in Pakistan. He also invited Johnathan Atkeison to visit Pakistan during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Naqvi said there were immense opportunities for the promotion of cricket between Pakistan and USA.
The CEO of USA Cricket thanked the PCB chairman for invitation to see the Champions Trophy.
