ICC ODI rankings: Babar retains second spot while Shaheen, Rizwan drop

DUBAI (Web Desk) – The ICC has released the latest ODI player and bowler rankings, with Pakistan’s Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Rizwan dropping in positions.
India’s Shubman Gill remains the No. 1 ranked ODI batter, while Pakistan’s Babar Azam holds onto the second spot.
Virat Kohli has climbed to fifth place after a one-rank improvement. New Zealand’s Will Young has jumped eight places to 14th, while England’s Ben Duckett surged 27 spots to 17th. Fakhar Zaman slipped three places to 18th, and Mohammad Rizwan fell four places to 20th.
In the ODI bowler rankings, Sri Lanka’s Maheesh Theekshana remains at No. 1. Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi has dropped five places to ninth. Australia’s Adam Zampa moved up two spots to enter the top 10, now ranking 10th.
Meanwhile, Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi continues to lead the ODI all-rounder rankings, while New Zealand’s Michael Bracewell made significant progress, climbing 26 spots to 11th.
