LAHORE (Web Desk) - Several Pakistani cricketers have been fined for violating the code of conduct during recent home and away series.

Sources revealed that fines exceeding PKR 3 million were imposed from the England home series to the South Africa tour.

The heaviest fine was levied on Aamer Jamal, who wore a politically charged hat during an interview in the England series, resulting in a penalty of approximately PKR 1.3 million.

Additionally, three players were fined PKR 500,000 each for returning late to their hotel during the Australia series, while four players were penalised in South Africa for violating the team’s curfew. Fined players included Salman Ali Agha, Abdullah Shafique, Saim Ayub, and Abbas Afridi.

The PCB has stated that disciplinary matters are internal and are not publicly disclosed, as revealing such details could impact players' reputations.

The development comes when the national cricketers are under stiff scrutiny due to the team’s early exit from the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025.
