Four murdered in Gujranwala incidents
BANNU (Dunya News) – A policeman was shot dead on way home after finishing his duty at a police station in Mamsh Khail Shah Hindi, Dunya News reported here on Monday.
According security sources, the slain cop was returning home from a police station where he was deputed when gunmen targeted him. On information police reached the crime scene and started investigation. The area was cordoned off and a manhunt was launched for the fleeing assailants.
FOUR MURDERED IN GUJRANWALA INCIDENTS
In Gujranwala, four persons were murdered and two injured in different incidents. According to police, a man was shot dead and his brother injured by unidentified armed men in Stellate Police jurisdiction.
In Gula Ramzanwala, a youth was stabbed to death. In Jhangi, an old enmity claimed life of a man. He was killed in a gun attack. A man was also injured in this attack.
In Chobaki, unidentified assailants gunned down a man. In all these incidents, police concerned started investigation after sending the dead bodies and injured to respective hospitals.
