A manhunt launched for the fleeing assailants
GWADAR (Dunya News) - Six persons were taken out in a gun attack in Kalamat area between Pisni and Mara, Dunya New reported here on Thursday.
According to police, armed men opened indiscriminate firing, killing five persons on the spot whereas the sixth one succumbed to his wounds in hospital.
Having being informed, police and law enforcers scrambled to the crime scene and started investigation after shifting the dead and the injured to hospital.
A search operation has been launched for the arrest of the fleeing assailants, with police who started a process to identify the dead bodies.
Security has been stepped up in the area and police have enhanced patrol to ensure law and order in the locality.
