A contract of Rs25 lakh was issued to the shooters
(Web Desk) - In a new update, the charge-sheet of the attempted assassination plot at Salman Khan’s farmhouse in Panvel, Maharashtra has been revealed.
The charge-sheet named five individuals involved in the shooting and shows gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang orchestrated the contract.
A contract of Rs25 lakh (£23,000) was issued to the shooters.
The individuals were said to have recruited young boys under 18 for the job, who are allegedly hiding across India.
Salman Khan’s statement from the incident was included in the charge-sheet.
Khan said he believed the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was responsible for the shooting and that this hit was intended to kill him and his family.
He also reported that two unidentified individuals attempted to gain access to his Panvel farmhouse in January 2024 using false identities.
In 2022, Khan also received a threatening letter which was discovered on a bench opposite his building.
