Ailing stage actor Lucky Dear gets Rs2.5m cheque

The financial aid was given on behalf of Punjab CM
LAHORE (Web Desk) - Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari visited ailing stage actor Lucky Dear in his house and gave him Rs2.5million cheque on behalf of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
The minister inquired after the health of the artist and presented him a bouquet sent by the CM.
Lucky Dear thanked the chief minister, saying she always took care for performers. Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Culture, Shazia Rizwan, and Director of Punjab Arts Council, Tanveer Majid were also present.
The information minister visited Mehfil Theatre and Naz Theatre, inspected the backstage areas, cleanliness, and artistes' dressing rooms. She met stage actors and assured them of government's full support.
