(Web Desk) – Aamir is celebrating his 60th birthday today, with a startling revelation that he is in a romantic relationship.
The star was seen interacting with the media, cutting a birthday cake and spending time answering questions and revealing anecdotes.
It was during this interview that Aamir Khan revealed that he was in a relationship with a woman named Gauri Spratt.
Gauri has a Tamilian mother and an Irish father. She hails from Bengaluru and is currently working for Aamir Khan Productions.
She reportedly is also a mother to twins. During his interaction, Aamir said: “Gauri and I met 25 years ago and now, we are partners.
“We are very serious and committed to each other. We have been together for a year and a half.
“I don’t know if marriage suits me at the age of 60. “I am very fortunate to have such great relationships with my ex-wives.”
Aamir first married Reena Dutta at the age of 21. He has two children with her – Junaid and Ira Khan.
Reena also worked as an executive producer on Aamir’s Lagaan (2001). In 2002, Aamir filed for a divorce from Reena. In 2005, he married Kiran Rao, who had been an assistant director on Lagaan.
Aamir also starred in Kiran’s directorial debut Dhobi Ghat (2010). In 2011, they had a son through surrogacy – Azaad Rao Khan.
In 2021, after 16 years of marriage, Kiran and Aamir divorced. Aamir also revealed that his contemporaries Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have met Gauri.
He added: “I thought it would be a nice occasion for you all to meet her. Besides we won’t have to keep hiding.
“She met Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan last night. “She happened to be in Mumbai and we met accidentally, we kept in touch, and then it all happened organically.”
The superstar also confirmed that his next film Sitaare Zameen Par will be released in June 2025.
