LAHORE (Web Desk) – The wedding celebrations of Junaid Safdar, son of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, commenced in full swing today, drawing attention from both political and showbiz circles, as well as social media users nationwide.

Junaid Safdar is set to marry Shanze Ali Rohail, the granddaughter of senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former National Assembly member Sheikh Rohail Asghar. The festivities are scheduled from 16 to 18 January 2026 at Jati Umra, featuring traditional events including the Mehndi, Barat, and Walima ceremonies.

The first event, the Mehndi, is taking place tonight at Jati Umra, attended by members of the Sharif family and the Rohail Asghar family, along with close relatives. Noted dancer Wahab Shah has been invited to perform at the ceremony. Approximately 350 guests have been invited, and traditional Pakistani cuisine is being prepared to provide a lavish culinary experience.

The wedding invitation card, which has already gone viral on social media, states that the Walima will be held on 18 January 2026, Sunday, at 1:00 pm at Jati Umra Sharif Farms.

This marks Junaid Safdar’s second marriage. His previous marriage to the daughter of well-known businessman Saif-ur-Rehman ended in divorce in 2023.
