TikToker Alina Amir launches FIR over viral leaked video

LAHORE (Web Desk) - TikToker Alina Aamir has filed a First Information Report (FIR) against individuals involved in creating and circulating a controversial deepfake video using her likeness, declaring that she will take the matter to its legal conclusion.

The controversy began two weeks ago when a manipulated video went viral on social media.

The clip, reportedly generated using artificial intelligence (AI), featured Alina Aamir’s face digitally superimposed onto another girl’s body.

The video was widely shared online, with many posts falsely claiming that a private video of the influencer had been leaked.

Initially choosing to remain silent, Alina later addressed the issue in a recorded statement.

She said that she had not wanted to speak publicly about the matter and had been quietly observing the situation for over a week.

However, after seeing hundreds of posts alleging that her video had been leaked, she decided it was time to respond.

“I did not want to talk about this at all,” she said in her earlier video message. “But when I saw so many posts claiming that Alina Aamir’s video had been leaked, I realized such people need to be answered in their own language.”

In a recent video shared on social media, the TikToker reiterated her resolve not to remain silent.

She explained that the purpose of her video was to make it clear that she stands by her earlier statement — that she would raise her voice and seek justice.

Alina also shared a screenshot of the FIR in her latest post, confirming that a formal complaint has now been registered in connection with the deepfake video.
