In the footage, recorded during his February 9, 2026, concert, the singer appeared visibly irritated while confronting a man approaching the stage.
The clip quickly prompted accusations of arrogance and anger, pushing Azhar to clarify the context through Instagram stories.
He wrote: “A video of me getting angry at the concert is circulating.”
He added that he normally avoids explanations but felt intervention was necessary, “before more misinformation spreads”
The incident itself unfolded when Azhar noticed someone climbing onto the stage mid-performance, interrupting the flow of the show.
Stopping the music, he addressed the individual firmly, saying: “Beta, you have to work really hard to come on the stage.”
When the man identified himself as a security bouncer, Azhar’s response became sharper and more pointed on stage.
He asked: “Then why are you coming?”
Azhar questioned why a bouncer would leave crowd control to step into the spotlight.
He further remarked: “Being a bouncer does not make you more special than my everyone else.”
In his clarification, the ‘Meri Zindagi Hai Tu’ singer emphasised that he closely monitors crowds during every live performance.
He stated that he regularly stops songs if he senses danger, stressing that fan safety remains his highest priority.
According to Azhar, the man in question was not an enthusiastic fan but part of the concert security team.
He alleged that throughout the evening, the bouncer had been aggressively pushing women and teenagers in the audience.
Azhar said he observed this behaviour from the stage and grew increasingly uncomfortable watching the situation unfold.
When confronted, the bouncer reportedly shouted, “abay main bouncer houn,” which Azhar admitted triggered his frustration.
