(Web Desk) - Diljit Dosanjh will headline Wembley Stadium on September 12, marking his largest European concert to date.

Diljit announced the news during his performance in Toronto on May 31 at the Rogers Centre.

In a video on Instagram, he announced the tour date, eliciting huge cheers from the crowd.

He referenced joining the ranks of Michael Jackson, Queen and Prince as past stadium headliners.

Diljit said: “Wembley Stadium, for the first time in the history of South Asian artists, especially Punjabis, Wembley Stadium London.”

Wembley Stadium continues to host global acts, with upcoming performances from Harry Styles, My Chemical Romance, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd and Bon Jovi.

Indian artists have enjoyed success in the UK in recent years.

Arijit Singh became the first Indian artist to headline a stadium show in the UK at the neighbouring Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 2025.

Badshah became the first Indian rapper to headline The O2 in March 2026.
