(Web Desk) - Katy Perry has slammed the White House over its use of her hit song ‘Fireworks’ in a video showing US military strikes in Iran.
The White House's official TikTok page posted a video on July 23 using the 2010 song as a backing track, using the lyrics "boom boom boom" over the visuals of military strikes and the caption "Iran has been warned."
The pop star condemned the use of "Fireworks" on X on July 25, writing that she was "deeply appalled and angry," and clarifying that she "did not approve this, I was not asked, and I absolutely do not condone it."

Kaelan Dorr, Deputy Assistant to President Trump, responded to Perry's post by sharing a clip of her 2012 music "Part of Me" in which the singer is portrayed in US military boot camp. "This you?" Door wrote.
