ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has rejected reports by a foreign news agency about the Makkah agreement, describing them as speculative and based on unverified claims.
In a statement, the ministry said Pakistan’s commitment to the defence of Saudi Arabia was clear and non-negotiable.
It said operational details concerning joint defence arrangements were matters of operational secrecy and should not be disclosed through speculation.
The ministry urged the public and media to avoid relying on unverified reports and anonymous sources regarding the agreement.
It also called for reliance on official statements rather than what it described as fabricated figures and speculative claims.
