Summary Former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir has dismissed reports that he will play in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Former Pakistan cricket team fast bowler Mohammad Amir has broken his silence on the circulating reports about his participation in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

For some time, Indian media had been reporting that Mohammad Amir could take part in the IPL as a British citizen.

The cricketer has now personally denied these reports in a post on the social media site X.

In his post, he wrote: "I just want to make it clear that the news circulating about the IPL is not correct."

It should be noted that Mohammad Amir became a British citizen in May this year after obtaining a British passport.

He recently registered for the Afghanistan Premier League as a British citizen, after which speculation about his participation in the IPL had gained further momentum.
