PTI wishes to dissolve assemblies today: Fawad
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) vice-president Fawad Chaudhry said on Thursday the PTI wished to dissolve the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) assemblies at the earliest.
Speaking to media, he said: "Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Parvez Elahi’s victory was not a surprise for us as we knew we had the required vote count in the assembly. It’s a surprise for the opposition.”

He said the ruling coalition won only because of the support of the masses but the opposition was running away from [fresh] election. “Our victory has stunned Attaullah Tarar, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and former president Asif Ali Zardari,” he added. The PTI, he said, would take action against those who defected.
Mr Chaudhry said the PTI would raise the issue of "pressure tactics" employed against them ahead of the CM s vote of confidence with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Asim Munir. "They called some of the PTI MPAs from private numbers," he claimed.
