ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - The Chief Commissioner of Islamabad on Friday suspended the No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for public gathering in Tarnol a day before the scheduled meeting.

According to details, the decision was taken during a meeting presided over by the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad, in which security agencies expressed their concerns about the potential risks associated with the public gathering.

During the meeting, the participants reviewed the applications related to the public gathering and the prior permission of the Deputy Commissioner.

The Chief Commissioner decided to suspend the NOC for PTI public gathering after reviewing the requests and security concerns.

According to officials, the decision to suspend the NOC was taken to ensure the restoration of law and order in the city. Authorities have stressed that the safety of citizens is their top priority, and all necessary measures will be taken to maintain law and order in the city.
