ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday barred the trial court from issuing final verdict in 190 million-pound case against PTI chairman Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi.

A two-member bench, consisting of Chief Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb, heard the acquittal petitions of Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi.

Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi requested the Islamabad High Court to stop the accountability court from proceeding with the trial as the case is pending in the high court.

Acting on their request, the Islamabad High Court ordered the trial court not to announce the final verdict in the £190 million case.

The court also issued a notice to NAB on the acquittal petitions and adjourned the hearing until September 26.
