Govt not sincere in negotiations, says Saif
Pakistan
"No dialogue committee ever succeeded which comprised Irfan Siddiqui," he said
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkwa Information Adviser Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif on Monday wondered how could the government which deceived the media by passing the PECA bill be sincere in negations with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
In a statement, Saif said the government was bringing the PECA bill in the garb of curtailing fake news, alleging the government was stifling the media through the bill like it muzzled the independence of the judiciary by passing the 26th Constitutional Amendment.
"No dialogue committee ever succeeded which comprised Irfan Siddiqui. PTI founder Imran Khan was a free man in the Adial jail while the Sharif family was reduced to Raiwind. The Avenfield has become a prison field for the Sharif family," he added.
