Pakistan
Only attendance was recorded for all accused
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has directed the submission of complete challans in 13 cases related to the May 9 events.
ATC Rawalpindi Judge Amjad Ali Shah heard the cases, with former interior minister Sheikh Rashid, Zartaj Gul, Seemabia Tahir, Rashid Shafiq, and other accused appearing in court. Only attendance was recorded for all accused.
The court adjourned the hearing until February 20, with no proceedings taking place the previous day either.
The defense lawyers filed a petition requesting a joint hearing for all May 9 cases and argued that the decision to separate the GHQ attack case from other May 9 cases should be revoked.
After the hearing, Sheikh Rashid left without speaking to the media.
