ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has summoned the federal cabinet meeting to be held today (Thursday) in Islamabad to discuss the current political, economic and security situation in the country.

The prime minister will preside over the meeting which will be held at the Prime Minister’s Office. The cabinet will discuss a 13-point agenda during the meeting.

According to sources, cabinet will consider to initiate an inquiry into statement on PIA pilots by a minister during PTI regime. The Federal Cabinet will approve Middle East Green Initiative Charter.

The cabinet will review the establishment of special courts in Islamabad and the restructuring of Accountability Court No 3 during today’s meeting. The federal cabinet will also approve the appointment of the chairman of Karachi Port Trust.

The federal cabinet will also give approval to the agreement signed by Pakistan Customs and State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.

Sources said that the cabinet will ratify the decisions taken by Cabinet Committee on Legal Affairs during it meeting on January 22.
