Bogies of Karachi-bound Shalimar Express derail at Shahdara

No loss of lives took place in the incident
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Soon after it started its journey from Lahore to Karachi, the Karachi-bound Shalimar Express met with an accident near Shahdara station on Friday.
According to sources, three bogies of the Shalimar Express derailed from the track while one derailed from the bridge, resulting in closure of the up and down track and affecting the schedule of Faisalabad-bound trains from Lahore.
On the other hand, the railway authorities said a relief crane was sent to the Shahdara station, adding that no casualty took place in the incident.
