RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir has issued a stern warning to both internal and external enemies of Pakistan during his visit to Balochistan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Munir emphasised that the Pakistan Army is well aware of those who act as proxies for foreign powers.
"Those who are acting as proxies of their foreign masters who have mastered the art of manifesting double standards of hunting with the hound and running with the hare are well known to us. No matter what these so-called “frenemies” may do, you will surely be defeated by the resilience of our proud nation and its Armed Forces, Inshallah. For the defence of our motherland and its people, we will definitely retaliate and ‘hunt you down’, whenever required and wherever you may be," he stated.
The COAS reaffirmed the Army’s commitment to supporting the provincial government in ensuring the security, welfare, peace, stability, and development of the people of Balochistan.
The army chief was all praise for the military, paramilitary and law enforcement personnel for their “courage and determination” to combat terrorism, said the ISPR.
He reassured them of the army’s resolve to ensure the security and well-being of the people of Balochistan.
