Adiala Jail officials served notice for not producing Bushra Bibi in court
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - A Rawalpindi anti-terrorism court on Tuesday issued a notice to Adiala Jail superintendent for not producing Bushra Bibi.
Judge Amjad Ali Shah presided over the hearing over the authorities failure to present Bushra Bibi in the court on February 1. Bushra Bibi’s lawyer Muhammad Faisal Malik filed the petition.
The court was informed that the hearing was scheduled for the bail of Bushra Bibi in 31 cases of November 26 incident but she was not produced in the court.
It was adopted in the petition that the authorities had committed contempt of court by not making Bushra Bibi appearing in the court.
The court later directed the superintendent to appear in person on February 6.
