Balochistan’s tribunals resolved 41 out of 51 cases, Punjab’s 9 tribunals ruled on 45 out of 192
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN) has released the performance report on election tribunals.
According to FAFEN's report, election tribunals resolved 11 more petitions in January 2025, bringing the total to 112 — 30% of all filed petitions.
Most cases were handled in Lahore, Bahawalpur, and Karachi. The report noted an increase in dispute resolution in late 2024, with tribunals across the country processing 371 petitions.
Balochistan’s tribunals resolved 41 out of 51 cases, while Punjab’s 9 tribunals ruled on 45 out of 192 petitions.
Sindh, KP, and National Assembly constituencies saw slower progress. Additionally, 38 tribunal decisions have been challenged in the Supreme Court.
