ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A civil judge on Wednesday wrote a letter to high court seeking jail trial of PTI founder Imran Khan in woman judge threat case.
The hearing of woman judge threat case was conducted by Civil Judge Muhammad Murid Abbas at Islamabad’s District and Sessions court on Wednesday.
Advocate Sardar Masroof appeared in the court on behalf of Imran Khan.
“This court had formally written to high court to initiate the jail trial of the case but didn’t receive any reply yet,” the judge observed.
Later, the court adjourned the hearing.

Earlier, the Islamabad District and Sessions Court has issued arrest warrants for PTI leader Zartaj Gul.
The warrants were issued by Civil Judge Mubashir Hassan Chishti, citing her repeated failure to appear in court despite multiple summons.
The judge stated, "Since Zartaj Gul has not complied with court orders, I am issuing her arrest warrants."
It is noteworthy that a case against Zartaj Gul was registered at Bara Kahu Police Station.
