PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has vowed to take strict action against those fueling sectarianism, ensuring they face the consequences of their actions.
Speaking at an event, the Chief Minister highlighted that the Kurram issue has persisted for 130 years, with both internal and external forces playing a role in creating unrest.
He clarified that the conflict in Kurram is not about land disputes but a sectarian issue, with foreign entities investing to ignite sectarian tensions across Pakistan.
He revealed that the provincial government has intensified border security measures, allocating Rs. 2 billion for surveillance cameras, while also announcing bounties on wanted terrorists.
He condemned a recent attack on a convoy, emphasising that nothing is more valuable than human life and peace, and reaffirmed his commitment to eradicating this menace from its roots.
Ali Amin Gandapur assured that those responsible for spreading sectarianism will not be spared and will ultimately be held accountable for their actions.
