Says government’s authority has completely collapsed in five to eight districts of Balochistan
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly, Omar Ayub said on Wednesday that the opposition would fight for the restoration of democracy, constitution, and rule of law on the streets, in the parliament, and in the courts.
Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Ayub stated that the opposition’s two-day Constitution Protection Conference would be held today, with three venues selected for the conference, and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is the host.
He also pointed out that the government’s authority had completely collapsed in five to eight districts of Balochistan.
He highlighted an incident where a weapon was snatched from a Balochistan minister on the road and he challenged the chief minister to retrieve the weapon.
Ayub expressed grave concern over the deteriorating situation in Balochistan, mentioning that areas such as Kohlu, Panjgur, Gwadar, Kech, and four other districts are in extremely poor condition. He said that if the Chief Minister of Balochistan Sarfaraz Bugti believed the situation was under control,
The opposition leader further stated that there was no real government at present, only puppets were in power, adding that incarcerated former premier Imran Khan would soon become the PM again.
